Celina walks the ramp The Bollywood brigade is now finally making its presence felt at the five daylong fashion extravaganza; after Lara it was the turn of smoking hot Celina Jaitley to grace the ramp for designer Varun Bahl.
Varun Bahl's show on day four of Fashion Week was a much awaited affair. Though the capital was agog with rumours about Kangana Ranaut walking the ramp for him, it was eventually the sexy siren Celina who served as his showstopper.

The collection true to the designer's spirit was a fair amalgamation of classic cuts and a dexterous craftsmanship. Soothing hues of garden greens and off whites reminded one of a spring summer fashion rhapsody. The fabrics were a careful blend of spring styles. The models sashayed in flowy dresses and sexy hot pants.
The front row comprised of the same old Delhi-Mumbai glitterati, which has now become ubiquitous at all high society dos. Pooja Bedi, who has been omni present at the event was seen in little black dress raving about Varun's designs. After a long hug with designer Rohit Bal, the lady shared her penchant for the designers' clothes.
Also seen was Amrita Arora dressed in spunky black attire complete with a hat to add to her appeal. Amrita Arora remarked "I have been thoroughly enjoying my self at the shows and I guess I won't mind owning all of these lovely dresses showcased on the ramp.” On being asked whether the lovely lass would herself want to walk the ramp, she replied "Well it is always fun but my work commitments don't often give me the liberty for the same. May be sometime in the future you may see me gracing the ramp.”

On her most memorable walk on the ramp she replied it was of course with my beau Usman Afzal in Mumbai. The socialite circle also included hairstylist Sylvie who arrived a wee bit late for the show.
After a long haggle for the front row seats, the hairstylist was seen happily perched in the second row. Enjoying the show in a true spirit, Sylvie said, "The collection is superb and the concept amazing. I guess fashion week really rocks."
Coming back to the story on Varun's ramp though the collection got a fair response both from the buyers' and style aficionados, the designers' surprise element, the violin babe Celina somehow failed to create the stir other actresses had managed to create. Despite the sexy little number Varun dressed her in and oodles of oomph, Jaitley had to make do with the faint applause by the audiences. What however set the mood was the designer's tribute to Isabella Blow.
So as the mood is now setting in for the last and final day of the fashion week, the spirits are continuing to soar bit by bit. There are some more promises of starry glimpses on the day that follows and as is expected there are expectations of some more serious dosage of high fashion.
